Anyone know of a good plumber in Seattle area? I have a leak under my sink and don't want to be taken to the cleaners to get it repaired. Thanks!

HI Steven,

I do not live in Seattle but I would recommend that you start with a directory such as http://www.repair-home.com/Directory/Washington/Bellevue. I would call at least three different vendors for price quotes. Verify that they are licensed, in good standing (this can usually be checked through your state's licensing authority: https://fortress.wa.gov/lni/bbip/ ), and request that they provide proof of insurance (you could be liable if something happens to them while their on your property) and references.

That's the best way to not be taken to the cleaners :)

You might want to give Paul C. Hayden andGas Line Repairs Seattleand Heating, Inc. a call. I have had them several times and have been very pleased with the service. Men who came out were super polite and very professional. As for the cost, I don't know what you figure on spending or what you consider expensive. All plumbers charge big $$ these days. Their website.
