As you may imagine different countries have different rules and regulations related to procuring a mortgage for a foreign property. There are various international mortgage brokers that have developed relationships with countries and have a better understanding of how a respective country handles the process.
Depending upon the type of bank you are currently with, you may be able to get guidance and potential direction if the bank is large enough, has a foreign office , etc. At least you may be able to start your investigation through a friendly source.
Be careful of blindly doing a Google search to find a foreign broker as you have no idea what type of rates you may be charged.
Good Luck
