PropertyMaps Adds Microsoft Virtual Earth to Mapping Offerings
New offering provides web site visitors with property search using Microsoft Virtual Earth.
PropertyMaps, Inc., a leading provider of visual information technology for the real estate industry, has added Microsoft Virtual Earth to its online offerings. Now PropertyMaps.com users can utilize either Google Maps or Microsoft Virtual Earth to search and plot authentic MLS listings.
“MS Virtual Earth provides an immersive mapping environment through its superior 3D imagery, pan/tilt functionality, and optimized tile loading,” said Chris Latko, PropertyMaps’ CTO. “We’re thrilled to provide our users with this additional tool to aid in their property search.”
According to Microsoft’s website, “The Virtual Earth Platform is an integrated set of services that combines unique bird’s-eye, aerial, and satellite imagery with best-of-breed mapping, location and search functionality.” PropertyMaps plans to further leverage the unique feature set of MS Virtual Earth to provide its users with the best mapping experience possible.
