PropertyMaps.com Proclaims World’s First .MOBI Internet Real Estate Search Service
PropertyMaps.com extends free MLS property search service to include the newest Top Level Domain created specifically for Internet-enabled mobile devices.
The new dot mobi Top Level Domain (TLD) introduced by ICANN is expected to eventually become the second most popular domain on the Internet behind dot com. The Web sites developed for the .MOBI domain must conform to a special set of rules optimized for the reduced screen sizes and bandwidth of mobile devices.
www.PropertyMaps.mobi is the world’s first real estate search site that allows anyone with an Internet enabled cell phone to wirelessly search Multiple Listing Service databases for free. “Version 2.0 of our MOBI site is planned to extend our visual information technology to the phone-based Internet browsers through the use of ActiveX technology,” according to John M. Beck, President of the company.
