We have added Sex Offender data to the Location Information section of the PropertyMaps site. Some have asked why we are providing this data, “won’t it turn people off from buying a house in certain areas?” Well maybe, but we believe it is extremely important to provide our users with the most amount of relevant information possible (even if it is controversial) so they can make the most informed decision when buying a house. Wouldn’t you want to know what kind of neighbors you have, I know I would.

This new initiative is in dedication to the memory of Jessica Marie Lunsford and the passage of Jessica’s Law in all fifty States.
